Do I really need to visit the dentist every 4 - 6 months?List Item 1
Depending on how well you take care of your oral health; depends on how often you need to visit. Our goal, as dentists, is to catch any problems early, to ensure that we can find a solution earlier rather than later.

How does what I consume impact my oral health?
Different foods have a different reaction depending on what is in it. If we are enjoying a sugary or starchy snack during the day, it is more than likely that your teeth and gums are being exposed to decay-causing elements. If you do consume these things, we recommend brushing and flossing your teeth after they are consumed, or try and stay away from foods that can damage your teeth altogether.
-
Should I use a soft or hard bristle toothbrush?
This is an important question to ask your dentist, as they will be able to tell how you are brushing your teeth. Usually, we recommend using a soft bristle toothbrush as it is gentler on your teeth and gums. If you are curious about which toothbrush is best for you, call us today to schedule an appointment.

Does whitening my teeth damage them?
Too much of anything is not good for us, which is why we recommend that you only whiten your teeth on a schedule, which we can help you make. If you whiten your teeth too much, you may damage your root structure and enamel, which could result in over sensitivity.
